Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and John Cummins (“we”, “us”), who runs InkVisionApp. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
1. Who can use InkVisionApp
You must be at least 18 years old. You’re responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account.
2. What the app does
InkVisionApp creates digital previews of how a tattoo design could look on your body. Previews are a visual guide only. They are not a guarantee of how a real tattoo will look, and they are not medical or professional advice. Always discuss your design, placement and skin with a qualified tattoo artist before getting tattooed.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, designs and text you add to the app (“your content”). You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run the app for you, including sending it to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy.
You promise that:
- you have the right to use any photo or design you upload, including other people’s artwork
- you only upload photos of other people with their permission
- your content isn’t illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing or otherwise harmful
4. AI-generated designs and translations
Designs from the AI Design Generator and translations are produced automatically. You may use the designs you generate, including for a real tattoo. However:
- AI designs may, by chance, look similar to existing artwork or designs made for other users, and we can’t promise that any design is unique or free of third-party rights.
- Translations can be wrong. Before getting text tattooed, have the translation checked by a fluent speaker.
Don’t use the generator to create content that breaks section 3.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the app. For example, don’t try to get around daily limits or ads, access other people’s accounts or data, reverse engineer or overload the service, or use automated tools to access it.
6. Ads, limits and changes
The app is free and supported by ads. Some features may require watching an ad, and each feature has a daily usage limit shared across all users. We may change, add or remove features, and we can’t promise the app will always be available or free of errors.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
8. Liability
We provide the app as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for decisions you make based on a preview, including the result of any real tattoo, or for losses that weren’t reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. App stores
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply. Apple and Google aren’t responsible for the app or its support. If you use the app on an Apple device, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies alongside these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make important changes, we’ll update the date at the top and let you know in the app. If you keep using the app after that, you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protections of your local consumer law and can bring claims in your local courts.
