Last updated: 9 October 2026

This policy explains what information InkVisionApp (“the app”, “we”, “us”) collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the InkVisionApp mobile app and this website.

Who we are

InkVisionApp is run by John Cummins, based in Ireland, who is the data controller for your personal data. You can contact us at support@inkvisionapp.com.

Age requirement

InkVisionApp is only for people aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Daily usage limits are counted as totals across all users. These totals don’t identify you.

Advertising

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device’s advertising identifier, IP address and information about how you interact with ads, to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before ads are personalised, and you can change your choice in the app. On iPhone, ads are only personalised using your advertising identifier if you allow tracking when asked. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your phone’s settings. Google’s use of this data is covered by Google’s policy on how it uses data from partner apps.

Who we share data with

We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run parts of the app for us:

ProviderWhat they receivePurpose

ReplicatePlacement photosFinding the skin area in your photo
fal.aiYour AI design descriptionsGenerating design images
Google (Gemini)Text you translate, and your username and bioTranslation and content filtering
Google AdMobAdvertising data described aboveShowing ads

We don’t send your name or email address to Replicate, fal.ai or Gemini. These providers process data on our behalf and keep it only for as long as their own retention policies allow, typically a short period for processing. We may also disclose information if required by law.

International transfers

Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on safeguards recognised under EU law, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

On your phone

The app asks for permission to use your camera and photo library so you can take or choose photos, and to save previews to your photo library. You can change these permissions in your phone’s settings at any time. The app keeps you signed in by storing a sign-in token on your device, which is removed when you log out.

Your rights

Under data protection law (GDPR), you have the right to:

To use any of these rights, email support@inkvisionapp.com. We’ll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie) or to the data protection authority where you live.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and our database and storage only allow you to access your own account’s data. Paid API keys are kept on our servers and never in the app. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a breach affects you where the law requires it.

This website

This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or ads. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with them.

Changes to this policy

If we make important changes, we’ll update the date at the top and let you know in the app.
